Mt. Vernon Board of School Trustees Meeting

Mrs. Walls led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mrs. Walls called the meeting to order at 5:01pm.

Mrs. Niesen made a motion to adopt the agenda. Mr. Britt seconded the motion  Motion carried 5-0.

No one signed into comment. 

The terms of the new collective bargaining contract were presented at the Oct 9 board meeting.   The new terms were reviewed and within the new contract the average raise is 3.75% for the bargaining unit. Mr Gray made a motion to ratify the agreement for 2025-26 collective bargaining contract.  Mrs. Freeman seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.  

Mrs. Freeman made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Mrs. Britt seconded the motion.  Motion carried 5-0.  Meeting was adjourned at 5:03pm.
